On Saturday 6 July, Midpoint DK was invited to give a online keynote speech and seminar on Trust in team bonding at a youth leadership camp for the Nigerian church ECWA in JOS. This camp was to prepare the leaders to welcome many children and youth in August.
Throughout this workshop, the 80 young people between the ages of 25 and 35 explored the Biblical Foundation on, how to build and maintain trust as leaders. We discussed the role of integrity in stewardship and servantship in leadership, trust in a Nigerian Context - Building Trust within Hierarchical Structures. We engaged in practical exercises to apply these principles. Shared personal and biblical stories that illustrate trust. Heard from young people about their expectations of leadership.
The most important lessons were, that integrity in stewardship goes beyond managing resources; it involves being faithful in our commitments and responsibilities. Whether we are managing finances, leading teams, or fostering relationships, our faithfulness in these areas reflects our commitment to God's principles.
